| Album Info: | UP 1996 "Southern Pacific" and UP 1983 "Western Pacific" came to the Portland & Western shortline railroad for a day. It was only the third revenue run for UP 1996 since it was unveiled on August 19, 2006. The first run was MRVPT24 Roseville - Portland beginning August 24, the second run was QPDWC-27 beginning August 27 and the third run was MRVPW30 Roseville to Portland & Western (at Albany) beginning August 30. The visit to PNWR happened just 9 days before the 10 year anniversary of UP's taking control of SP: September 11, 1996. |
